The Red Devils (2-10, 0-2) fell behind, 21-7, after one period and trailed 37-15 at intermission despite two 3-pointers by Phillip Hensley near the end of the first half.

T.J. Ray led all scorers with 21 points. No other Devil scored more than Hensley’s eight points.

Verbena fell to Winterboro, 78-27, on Saturday.

The Devils were closest to a win in their first game, on Friday, which they lost to Beauregard, 68-57.
