Locals win numerous racing awards

Trophy haul: Motorcycle riders with connections to the Perry Mountain Motorcycle Club won numerous awards at the Southern Enduro Riders Association Banquet, including Kids Enduro of the Year, Kids Harescramble of the Year, Adult Enduro of the Year, Adult Harescramble of the Year, Sports Family of the Year, Scholarship Award, and the Taylor Reynolds Spirit Award.

Representatives of the Perry Mountain Motorcycle Club were well represented at the Southern Enduro Riders Association Awards Banquet.

The club was recognized as hosting the Kids Enduro of the Year, the Kids Harescramble of the Year, the Adult Enduro of the Year, and Adult Harescramble of the Year.

The Glenn Hollingshead family won Sports Family of the Year, and Jonathan Seales won the Scholarship Award.

Cliff Ousley dominated harescrambles and enduros for the second time in his SERA career.

Vicki Anz aced the Womens Class enduros; Will Silas won Junior harescramble; Neal Ousley brought home first in Lites B, 10th overall in harescrambles; first in 200B and 12th overall in enduros.

“Little” Steve Nicholas racked up the awards as well: fifth overall, first in 200A enduros, seventh overall in harescrambles and winner of the Taylor Reynolds Spirit Award.

“Big” Steve Nicholas won second overall in harescrambles and third overall in enduros.

Kellie Nicholas nailed down the INT Girls class harescrambles.

Adrian Gervais placed 20th overall in enduros, and Tommy Cousins finished atop the A30+.
