Mattie Woodall was crowned the 2013 Young Miss Peach Queen on Monday.

She also won the casual wear portion of the pageant, held at Chilton County High School.

Woodall is the 8-year-old daughter of Jennifer and Matt Woodall and has a 5-year-old brother named Maddox.

She attends Thorsby School.

She was sponsored in Monday’s pageant by Major Muffler.

Woodall was one of 25 contestants vying for the Young Miss Peach title this year.

Jennifer Woodall said this is her daughter’s first year to compete in the 8–11 age group.

“She’s one of the youngest ones,” Jennifer Woodall said. “I’m so excited and so proud. I just can’t believe it. It’s surreal.”

2012 Young Miss Peach Madison Price took her final walk before crowning Woodall.

Woodall’s court included first alternate Kassidy Payne, second alternate Grayson Gann, third alternate Kaley Easterling and fourth alternate Kailee Williams.
