Chilton County’s boys team defeated Holtville on Thursday, 72-52, to snap a four-game losing streak.

Nelson Williams led the CCHS (3-4, 1-1) effort with 16 points and six assists.

Grantland Karn posted 15 points and nine rebounds.

Chilton’s girls team lost to Holtville, 42-38, despite Keona DeJarnett scoring 21 points.

Renee Lewis had 15 points for CCHS.
