The 2024 Chilton County Softball Tournament will take place at Maplesville High School from March 7-9. Two days of pool play will get the tournament started on March 7 and 8, followed by bracket play on March 9 set from pool play to decide the county champion.

Jemison, Thorsby and Verbena high schools were drawn into pool A and will play on March 7 starting with Jemison and Thorsby at 4 p.m. Thorsby faces Verbena afterwards at 5:30 p.m., and Jemison and Verbena close out night one at 7 p.m.

Chilton County, Isabella and Maplesville high schools are in pool B and play on March 8 starting with Isabella and Maplesville at 4 p.m. Maplesville and CCHS follow at 5 p.m., and Isabella and Chilton County close out pool play at 7 p.m. After 75 minutes, no new innings will be played during pool play games.

Championship Saturday starts at 9 a.m. with the second-place team in pool A facing the third-place team in pool B at 9 a.m. The second-place team in pool B will face the third-place team in pool A at 11 a.m.

The winners from the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. games will advance to face the pool winners at 1 and 3 p.m. in the semifinals, and the championship game is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Admission is $8 per day, and if it rains on March 7 then pool A games will be played on March 8 before pool B games with students out of school on March 8.
