Calvary Independent Baptist Church

We want to thank everyone who attended services Sunday.

Sunday morning services included a message from Isaiah 6:1-8 titled “Lord Open Our Spiritual Eyes So That We Will Behold You.” We looked at a sight to see, a saying to hear, a sin to be purged and a sending to receive.

We hope that you have been made alive unto the things of God and worship him in spirit and in truth. If so, we hope that like Isaiah you too will be one that is willing to say, “Here am I Lord, send me!”

The need for soldiers of the faith such as those discussed in 2 Timothy 2 is abundant. The field is ripe unto harvest; will you be one of the workers until Jesus calls us home?

Sunday night services included a message from Psalms 121 titled “The Lord is My Help.” We looked at how the Lord Jesus Christ is our help from fear of man, our help from falling from the faith and our help from failing in serving him. We hope that like David, you also are looking unto the Lord for a very present help to preserve you as you serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you are looking for a church to visit this Sunday, we would love to see you at Calvary. For service times and events, check us out on Facebook or Twitter, visit our website at www.cibc-clanton.com or call Pastor Oscar Mims.
