Our Vacation Bible School will be June 2-6 at 6 p.m. We encourage you to attend and bring your kids. It will be a great and fun time in the Lord.
Calvary Independent Baptist Church
Sunday morning’s services included a message from Colossians 1:1-14 titled “The faithful, the Few, the Proud, the Christians.” In America today if you are one who is described in the Bible as a Christian, unfortunately, you are one of the few. If you are being edified, growing in knowledge, wisdom and spiritual understanding, then you are one who is the faithful. Christ will have the preeminence in your life. That is more than being first only on Sundays and Wednesdays, but putting the Lord Jesus Christ first in everyday of your life.
Saved sinners are to walk worthy of their salvation. If you are saved how much is your salvation worth to you? We hope you are saved, growing in Christ and serving Christ by serving others in a church that teaches the truth of the Gospel.
Sunday night’s services included a message from Isaiah chapter 64 titled “Our Father the Potter.” He is the one the world wants to ignore, but there is going to be a meeting place one day at each person’s appointed time. Just as the Bible describes in Isaiah, people in the flesh today still just aren’t expecting God’s judgment and do not understand the things that God has prepared for the saved. But for the ones who know him, the Father is the one who is doing a work in their life by his own hands. It is a very personal and marvelous work that definitely brings us to the point where we want to praise him with a loud voice just as the disciples did in Luke 19:37-40.
We hope you are allowing God to do a marvelous work in your life and are excited about the changes that only he can bring. If you are looking for a church to visit this Sunday we would love to see you at Calvary Independent Baptist Church.
