The Chilton Auburn Club will hold the last event for this year Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m.

The annual Beat Bama Bash will be held at the First United Methodist Church Activity Center in Clanton and is open to any Auburn fan.

“We want anyone who can yell ‘War Eagle’ to come and have a good time,” Chilton Auburn Club Treasurer Amber Darnell said. “This will be our last event for this year before we start back up in 2014, and we want as many Auburn people as can to come.”

The guest speaker of the event will be Quentin Riggins, a former linebacker at Auburn

Darnell said the 10 club board members will each provide a pot of soup and the club is providing desserts and drinks.

“No one needs to bring anything,” Darnell said. “We will have plenty of food.”

Darnell said the event is free and open to the whole family.

“This is a simple get-together with anyone who is an Auburn fan,” Darnell said. “I know some people in this community still aren’t aware there is an Auburn club so we are trying to get the word out. We just want everyone who loves orange and blue to come have a good time.”
