Dear editor:

I read with interest your article in which the Chilton County Commission voted to ask for a property tax and auto tag increase yet they won’t vote to sell alcoholic beverages in the county, which is the wettest dry county in Alabama. Nor will they vote for a 1-cent sales tax increase.

My auto and property tax is enough, and no one is going to vote for that increase nor the Legislature who votes for it.

Get the 1-cent sales tax increase approved, and fix the pot holes in our roads.
