The Reeltown Rebels (7-1, 6-0) stayed undefeated in Class 2A, Region 5 play, defeating the Isabella Mustangs (3-5, 1-5) 41-0 at Isabella on Friday.
The Mustangs took the opening kickoff, but fumbled on the second play from scrimmage deep in their own territory.
It would be sign of things to come.
The Rebels then put together an eight-play drive, capped off by a three-yard touchdown run by Ariko Stewart.
Next possession, Tywone Stewart ran for a touchdown, putting the Rebels up 14-0 after the extra point.
Isabella then went three-and-out, but a bad snap on a punt led to a Reeltown safety. The safety kick was then returned for a touchdown to make it 23-0, with 4:25 left in the first quarter.
Reeltown used six plays to take the ball down the field, scoring on an Ariko Stewart run to make it 29-0 after the missed extra point, with 5:17 left in the half.
Isabella got the ball back, but a fumble was picked up out of the air by Brandon Williams, who returned it 45 yards for a touchdown. The extra point was no good, with the score 35-0 in the Rebels favor.
Following an Ariko Stewart interception, it took Reeltown three plays to score again, with James Smith running the ball in, making it 41-0 in favor of the Rebels to end the half.
The Mustangs will travel to Montgomery Academy next week, and Reeltown will take on LaFayette, on the road as well.
