Myrtle and Willie Littleton celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary Aug. 1.

The years have gone by for this very blessed couple; Bro. Willie is 92 years young and Sis. Myrtle is 91 years young.

Who would have dreamed of wearing a coat on this first day of August 1936? Sis. Myrtle had to wear a coat. It’s hard to imagine being cold in August in Chilton County.

This couple has inspired more people than you could know, in both word and deed. They have set an example for every married couple to stay married and happy. They have been married for 75 years, and there has been laughter and tears, and with God there was a union established.

He was saved in 1943, and preached his first sermon at a brush harbor in 1947. They did pastoral work at Sunshine Assembly and Prattville Church. They also pastured at Tallassee and at New Harmony. Their last pastoral work was at Victory Chapel for 35 years.

They are still active in church at New Harmony Holiness. She is the pianist and he is always helping someone with the word. They love God and are loved by many.
