Dear Editor,

Riding south on Seventh Street, on the left is the back of the old W.J. Elmore store. I don’t know who owns the building anymore, but it has been an eyesore for years.

The water stained curtains that were there 60 years ago are still there. Now, the glass is broken, and the ragged curtains are blowing out, making a terrible spectacle.

We have a great little city and pay someone to hang flowers on the corners, and they are beautiful. I think we can do better making our main traffic street a little more desirable to our residents and visitors passing through.
