Dear Editor,

I recently came across a Facebook site of someone who was opposing Maplesville High School (The Perplexed Observer, Action Alert: Oppose God Bless America Plaque in Alabama High School) for the posting of the American Flag along with a God Bless America plaque.

I want to thank the school for standing up for what they believe in. Too many times, we have been forced to lay aside our beliefs for that of a few. I feel that it is time that we stand up to these few people who have continued to try and force us to accept their “opinions.”

I feel that we need to call upon God more than ever before. There is just too much violence in our schools. Let us take back America!
