I would like to publicly commend the staff of Minooka Park and recommend these facilities to the people of Chilton County and beyond.

Minooka Park is the best kept secret in Chilton County. Yes, it is a park with swings for children, nature trails, hiking and ATV trails, fishing, camping and more, but the rustic, woodsy setting is so calming and tranquil for young and old.

My family has enjoyed the park twice in the last six months for a birthday party and most recently a family reunion for 35-40 people. There are outdoor grills for cooking and covered pavilions for picnicking, etc.

The bathrooms are exceptionally clean. The staff was more than accommodating to make our stay enjoyable. We are fortunate to have such a lovely place within a short driving distance.
