Robin Lynn Dennis, 47, of Auburn passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at her home in Auburn. Born in Montgomery on Jan. 27, 1963, she was the daughter of James and Lavoy Dennis of Fernandina Beach, Fla. Robin was a graduate of Saint Paul Episcopal School in Mobile and Auburn University with a BA degree in history, BS degree in history education and an MS in media science. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Surviving along with her parents are her daughters, Carlyn Robinson Bridges and Samantha Louise Bridges; her sister, Donna Louise(Tony Mathis) Dallas; her precious niece, Annie Frances Dallas; aunts, Peggy Kirby and Annette Walker; uncle, John Walker; and a large extended family that will forever remember her love, generosity and a special smile for all who knew her. She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Carl Hilton and Athlone Robinson; and paternal grandparents, James N. and Frances Dennis. A celebration of Robin’s life will be Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Clanton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
