The Chilton Baptist Association will hold its annual Evangelism Rally next Sunday night, Feb. 8.

Clanton First Baptist Church will host the event in its Christian Life Center beginning at 6 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Len Turner, a well-known evangelist.

All churches within the association are encouraged to observe their evening services at the rally but are not required to do so. Even though the rally is put on by the Baptist Association, everyone is welcome to attend.

“This is the one time of year we ask churches to move their Sunday night service to come together in worship,” stated the CBA Web site, cba-online.org. “Please mark your calendar and make plans to attend the 2009 Evangelism Rally. You will be glad you did.”
