Isabella’s volleyball team improved its record to 7-0 with a 3-0 (25-7, 25-18, 25-14) sweep of Thorsby on Tuesday.

Brianna Tyler recorded 16 of the team’s 25 aces on the night, while Synia Chattman posted seven of the team’s 18 total kills.

Hailey Underwood tallied nine of the team’s 12 assists.

The win came on the heels of the Mustangs winning all five of their games in a tournament hosted by Marbury to claim the championship.

IHS was scheduled to play Helena on Thursday and will host its annual tournament on Saturday, with the first game scheduled for 9 a.m.

Isabella’s junior varsity team also defeated Thorsby on Tuesday and was scheduled to play Helena on Thursday.
