Witches, goblins, superheroes and princesses flooded the halls of the Chilton County Courthouse Thursday morning.

Preschool children from both Clanton First United Methodist Church and Clanton First Baptist Church collected candy from various offices throughout the courthouse dressed in costumes.

“We have a lot of different costumes this year,” said CFBC Preschool Assistant Director Melinda White, who was dressed as Olaf from the movie Frozen. “There are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mickey Mouse, and lots of princesses.”

Offices on each floor of the courthouse handed out candy to more than 100 children who paraded the hallways with their Halloween attire.

A second group of children is scheduled to parade through the courthouse on Friday morning.
