Baseball players will represent community well

Published 9:47am Tuesday, November 26, 2013

Dear editor,

Thank you for the acknowledgement of J.D. Minor and Matt Morgan signing National Letters of Intent for NCAA Baseball.

It is truly an accomplishment for two Chilton County athletes and good for our communities.

A big thank you to Mayor Billy Joe Driver and each and every Clanton City Council member for their continued support of Chilton County High School baseball.

These young men are reaping much financial help to continue their baseball careers and get an education from two highly regarded universities.

You have already and continue to mold the futures of the student athletes in our entire county. I am forever in your debt.

These young men will continue to be good ambassadors for our city, county and elected officials.

Tim W. Minor
