Robotics students headed to competition

Dear editor:

The students and faculty of the robotics at LeCroy Career Technical Center have the opportunity of a lifetime.

They have competed and won the state competition and are now going to the national level in Orlando, Fla. These young men will be representing not only our state but our county in this competition.

We are now reaching out to our community to ask for donations to help with the expenses. The total cost of the trip is approximately $5,836. Any donation given will be greatly appreciated. The students are from schools in the Chilton County area.

Again, I would like to thank those who take the time to consider helping these young men advance and represent our county. Anyone who is able to help should make checks out to LeCroy CTC or LeCroy STEM Academy.

Anyone with questions can call me at 646-8501 or 217-9395.
