Lola Fern Lister

Lola Fern Lister, 79, of Jemison died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.

She was born on Monday, Jan. 29, 1934, in Oklahoma, daughter of the late Andrew A. Black and the late Mae Cox Black.

Surviving are her daughters, Brenda (Peter) Lirette of Jemison, Theresa (Gary) Mount of Marion, Sheila Smith of Jemison; sons, Richard (Jennie) Lister Sr. of Jemison, George Beasley of Jemison; grandchildren, Anglia Nauqin, Chris Lirette, Raymond Barrows, Erika Johnson, Craig Lirette, Jamie Peterson, Savannah Lirette, Jason Miller, William Mount III, Gary B. Mount, Richard Lister Jr., Ashley Lister, Cody Lister, Amber Bates; 13 great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Marvin Lister Jr.

Friends will be received from 5–8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
