Thorsby hosts professionals for Careers on Wheels Day

Thorsby School hosted a Careers on Wheels Day on April 18 for its elementary students to interact with professionals in lines of work that deal with vehicles in some capacity.
Professionals from Alabama Power, Army National Guard, Chilton County Sheriff’s Office, Ellison Farms, Spire, Thorsby Fire Department and Thorsby Police Department all attended the event and brought vehicles associated with their fields such as police cars, log trucks, power trucks and more.
Students were able to interact with professionals and get a hands-on experience inside the vehicles, and with items that the professionals carry with them on a daily basis.
