Curtis Floyd Logan, age 69 of Clanton, passed away on Dec. 21, 2012, at his residence.

He was born in Prattville on June 15, 1943, the son of the late Thomas Logan and the late Wilma Thornton Logan.

He was a truck driver.

He is survived by: wife, Judy Logan of Clanton; daughter, Angie (Terry) Scott of Thorsby; daughter, Mindy (Mac) McDaniel of Clanton; daughter, Brandi Lawrence of Clanton; grandsons: Hunter McDaniel, Tyler Scott and Ryan Scott; granddaughters, Paige McDaniel and Dori Lawrence; sister, Merle (Wayne) Overstreet of Valrico, Fla.; sister, Connie (Steve) Bonds of Plant City, Fla.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, along with his sisters, Ann Parker and Helen Stovall.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Dec. 22, from 5–8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Bowman officiating.

Burial followed in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.

The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice of Clanton, along with Dr. Ferguson and the staff of Shelby Cancer Center for their care and support during Floyd’s illness.
