Thorsby High School’s FFA Poultry Evaluation Team attended the International Poultry Expo, part of the International Production and Processing Expo in Atlanta.

During the expo, poultry industry leaders informed students about the multitude of career opportunities in the industry. In addition, students were able to visit the trade show to see the technology used by today’s modern, sustainable poultry industry.

The all-expenses-paid trip to the world’s largest annual trade show for poultry, meat and feed industries, was awarded to the top 11 finishing teams at FFA Nationals in Louisville, Ky. in October 2015.
