Clanton Intermediate holds recycling drive for extra pay

Clanton Intermediate School is asking for the help of the community to receive “Extra Pay for Earth Day.”

The school has recycled cell phones and ink cartridges, but will receive extra pay for recyclable items received no later than Wednesday, April 20.

The school will receive an extra $25 for every $50 worth of items collected.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for us to make some extra money,” said Mary Brown, office staff.

The following is a list of all items the school can send in:
cell phones, laser cartridges, inkjet cartridges GPS devices, laptops PDAs, iPODS, DVDs, digital cameras, video games and consoles.

Items can be dropped off at Clanton Intermediate School during business hours.
