Clanton Elementary holds Field Day

Students from Clanton Elementary compete in relays during their Field Day.

Clanton Elementary held its fourth annual Field Day Wednesday, May 18.

All of Clanton Elementary School’s nearly 800 students were allowed to participate in Field Day, which took place at Tiger Stadium on Wednesday. The event consisted of various relays that encourage fun.

A CES student gets his face painted during Field Day.

“Everybody gets to go [to Field Day],” said CES physical education teacher Kandice Shrader. “We put on [relays] where everyone gets a chance to play.”

In addition to CES staff, members of Chilton County High School’s SGA helped volunteer at the event.
