The Chilton County Firefighters Association hosted the sixth annual Fun Day Saturday.

The event was held at the Central Alabama Horse Club arena in Clanton off Highway 145 at Interstate 65 Exit 212.

The event was free to all Chilton County residents.

Attractions included appearances by Smokey Bear and Sparky the Fire Dog, Charles Daniel from ABC 33/40, free games with prizes, inflatables, a dunking booth, cake walk, fire hose games, a fire safety trailer, fire trucks and tankers, ladder trucks, ambulances and rescue trucks, free T-shirts, free hot dogs, drinks, chips and cookies and a Gospel music singing.

Kids had the opportunity to see different types of firefighter gear and equipment that is used within the county to help keep residents safe.
