Susan Carol Raulston Allen, 62, of Jemison died Monday, June 20, 2011, at her residence in Jemison. She was born Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1948, in Hamilton County, Tenn., daughter of the late Daniel McKeever Raulston Jr. and the late Mildred Gross Raulston.

She was a bookkeeper for 28 years at Buffalo Rock Bottling Co.

Surviving are husband, David Allen of Jemison; two sisters, Donna Gayle Schisler of Hammond, La. and Debra Raulston Smith of Alabaster.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until noon, Thursday, June 23 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be Thursday, June 23 at 1:15 p.m. at the Alabama National Cemetery with the Rev. Willard Frederick  officiating. Interment will follow in Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. The family requests no flowers. Make memorials to your charity of choice.
