Deborah Kay Burdette Roberson, 56, of Verbena, passed away on Feb. 27 at her home.

She was born on March 5, 1959, the daughter of the late Clevland Burdette and Jeanette Gray Burdette.

She was a teacher.

She is survived by husband, Frankie Roberson of Verbena; mother, Jeanette Burdette of Verbena; brothers, Don Burdette of Verbena, Roger Burdette of Montgomery and Ritchie Burdette of Montgomery, and aunt Elaine Staton of Clanton.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clevland Burdette.

Funeral services were held Feb. 29 at 11 a.m. from Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Gray and the Rev. Eric Sutton officiating.

Burial was in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Verbena.

The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
