John Kenneth Adams, 63, of Thorsby, passed away suddenly on Nov. 8 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born in Chilton County on Sept. 24, 1951, the son of the late Luther Arthur Adams and the late Millie Angeline Ray Adams.

He was a former warehouse man with United Lumber and Seaman Timber Company.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Adams of Thorsby; sons, Tony Adams of Jemison, Kevin Adams of Thorsby, Mark Adams of Jemison and Scotty Adams (Kathy) of Thorsby; five grandchildren; brothers, Richard Adams and Grady Adams of Jemison and sister, Flora Mae Wyatt of Thorsby.

Visitation was held Nov. 11 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. from Faith Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Willard Scott and the Rev. Butch Hubbard officiating.

Burial followed in the Pates Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Thorsby.
