Linda Kay Varden, 66, of Clanton, passed away Aug. 13 at her residence.

She was born in Chilton County on Nov. 6, 1947, the daughter of the late William Earl Caton and the late Willie Mae Riggins Caton.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace Varden of Clanton; daughter, Christy Gray (Allen) of Jemison; son, Chace Varden of Clanton; grandchildren, Brooke Perkins, Savanna Shaw and Cain Varden; great-grandchildren, Zac Chapman and Zoe Perkins; brother, Ronnie Caton of Prattville and sister, Rita Embry of Prattville.

Funeral services will be held Aug. 15 at 11 a.m. from Jackson Chapel Church with the Rev. Dennis Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Methodist Protestant Cemetery in Thorsby.
