Lawrence “Larry” R. Land, 69, of Jemison, passed away July 22.

He was born on Jan. 12, 1945, in Montgomery, the son of the late Sullivan Max Land and the late Essie E. Posey Land.

He was a store owner.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Land of Jemison; daughter, Kim (Danny) Robinson of Jemison; son, Randall Land (Vickie) of Clanton; son, Rusty Land of Jemison; daughter, Reagan Land of Jemison; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Donna Waldrop of Calera; brother, Roger Land (Joyce) of Jemison.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Pete and Essie Land and son, Wade Waldrop.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. July 25 at Union Springs Baptist Church.

Services will be held July 26 at 2 p.m. at Union Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Evie Megginson and the Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
