Maplesville Police Dept. reports for the week of June 16, 2014

The following is an activity report of the Maplesville Police Department from April 21-June 4:

 

April 21

•Traffic accident in front of West Frasier Mill, no injuries vehicle damage only.

 

April 26

•An arrest was made for attempting to elude a police officer. After an attempted traffic stop, the suspect fled at high speed and was then was caught in Autauga Co.

 

April 27

•An arrest for marijuana after a traffic stop: Alabama Highway 22 and The Barking Frog

•An arrest for public intoxication was made at The Barking Frog after suspect was beating on the door to the store to be let in before they opened.

 

April 29

•A report was made for identity theft.

 

May 1

•A report for burglary of a residence was made from the Mulberry St. area of Maplesville.

 

May 4

•An arrest was made for public intoxication at Seals Grocery.

 

May 12

•A report was made for a vehicle fire off of Alabama Highway 139.

 

May 13

•A report for domestic violence was made from the Westland Hills area of Maplesville.

 

May 15

•A report was made at West Frazier Mill for criminal mischief and possible sabotage of the plant’s equipment.

 

May 20

•A report was made for identity theft from the 8000 Block of Alabama Highway 22.

•A report was made for criminal trespass from the County Road 17 area.

 

May 25

•A report for domestic violence was made from the 5700 Block of U.S. Highway 82.

•A report for domestic violence was made from the 6000 Block of U.S. Highway 82.

 

May 26

•An arrest was made after an officer attempted to make a traffic stop and the suspect refused to stop. A chase ensued and the suspect was taken into custody in the Jones Community for attempting to elude and endangering the welfare of a child.

 

May 30

•An arrest was made for marijuana and obstruction of a government operation on Alabama Highway 22 and County Road 329.

 

May 31

•A report for harassment was made from the 8800 Block of Alabama Highway 22.

 

June 2

•A report was made for a natural death in the Shepard Hill area of Maplesville.
