Bessie Lee Adams, 84, of Clanton, passed away April 8 at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born May 24, 1929, in Alabama, the daughter of the late Dewey Monroe Robinson and the late Lena Smith Robinson.

She was an electrical laborer.

Surviving are her son, Mark Adams (Regenia) of Clanton; daughters, Donna Bice (Mack) of Jemison, Jackie Wilson (Allen) of Clanton; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Adams; parents, Dewey and Lena Robinson; brother, J.C. Robinson; sisters, Margie Robinson and Chiney McCord.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. April 10 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held April 11 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
