Donna Sue Popwell McDaniel, 51, of Clanton, passed away on March 27 at her home.

She was born on March 19, 1963, in Clanton, to the late Billy Ray Popwell Sr. and Ollie Mae Murr.

She was a cook.

She is survived by her husband, James Lee Woods of Clanton; daughter, Christy Michelle Davis of Clanton; daughter, Jessica Patterson of Clanton; step-daughter, Amy Martin of Calera; step-son, Stevie Woods of Clanton; step-son, Jeffery Woods of Clanton; step-son, Joshua Woods of Clanton; 18-grandchildren; mother, Ollie Mae Baker Taylor of Clanton; brother, Billy Ray Popwell Jr. of Clanton and brother, Jacky Popwell of Clanton.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Dutton; sister, Brenda Luther and father, Billy Ray Popwell Sr.

Visitation will be held March 28 from 12-2 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on March 28 from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Thurmond Cleckler officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Springs Cemetery.
