William Marcus “Bill” Polk, 52, of Clanton, passed away Jan. 20 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega.

He was born in Chilton County on July 15, 1961, the son of the late Walter Marcus Polk III and Sarah Nell Patterson Polk.

He was a machinist.

He is survived by his daughters, Trinity Polk of Clanton, Chassidy Polk of Clanton, Heather Polk of Columbiana; six grandchildren; mother, Sarah Nell Polk of Clanton and sister, Ginger (Terry) Gray of Clanton.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Marcus “Buddy” Polk III and brother, James Walter Polk.

Funeral services were held Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Barney Mims officiating.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the service.

Burial followed in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
