Kenneth Earl Green, 64, of Clanton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 26 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. He was born in Chilton County on Aug. 4, 1948, the son of the late Doyle K. Thomas and the late Bobbie Jean Green Thomas.

He was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Green of Clanton; son, Danny Robinson (Kim) of Jemison; son, Raymond Robinson (Jennifer) of Selma; daughter, Lavetta Edmondson of Clanton; daughter, Rachel Coggins of Alexander City; daughter, Candy Gulledge of Verbena; daughter, Savannah Green of Clanton; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Ricky Thomas (Carolyn) of Clanton; brother, Pete Thomas of Clanton; sister, Cathy Edwards of Clanton and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Doyle Thomas; mother, Bobbie Jean Thomas; brother, Ronald Thomas; brother, Donald Thomas and sister, Linda Wyatt.

Visitation was held on May 28 at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on May 29 at 1 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Thomas and the Rev. Willard Scott officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
