Jessie Willitte “Mudder” Crawford, age 88, of Plantersville, passed away Nov. 28, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, W.L. Willitte and Clifford Crawford; brother, Earl Dobbs; and sister, Eva Warr.

Surviving are her son, William Earl (Neva) Willitte; daughters, Sandra (Ricky) Roberts and Mary (Pam) Ballard; stepdaughter, Dorothy (Gene) Johnston; brother, Julian (Ilene) Dobbs; grandchildren, Tina (Jubal) Ferrell, Tammy (Charles) Helms, Will (Jennifer) Roberts and Wesley (Crystal) Ballard; step-grandchildren, Karen Frost and Gene Johnston, and great-grandchildren, Lakeyn (Micah) Peters, Sheridan (David Banks) Helms, Logan (Kevin Aaron) Ferrell, Hunter Helms, Ethan Ferrell, William Roberts, Taylor Roberts and Braxton Ballard; great-great-grandchild, Huntley Peters; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. at Alpine Baptist Church with John Ingram officiating.

Interment will be in the church cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 30, from 6–8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Will Roberts, Wesley Ballard, Hunter Helms, Ethan Ferrell, Jubal Ferrell and Charles Helms.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Ousley, James Ousley, Gene Ousley, Danny Ousley, Wayne Ousley and Charles Ousley.
