Thelma Clarice Culp

Thelma Clarice Culp, 85, of Prattville died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Merrywood Lodge in Wetumpka.

She was born on Monday, July 4, 1927, in Chilton County, daughter of the late William Byron Henley and the late Ruth Williams Henley.

She was a sales clerk.

Surviving are her grandson, Mark (Jan) McLendon of Wetumpka; great-granddaughter, Marcey McClendon of Prattville; six sisters, Frances Benson of Selma, Katie Barrett of Clanton, Dean (Raymond) Tyner of Montgomery, Ettis (Larry) Wells of Prattville, Blanch (Gene) Nichols of Prattville, and Gladys (Ted) Riddle-Watson of Auburn; two brothers, Walton “Buddy” (Janice) Henley of Soddydaisy, Tenn., Randall “Randy” Henley of Prattville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Culp; daughter, Linda McLendon; and Son, Gary Culp.

Friends will be received from 5–7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 2:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Wells officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Methodist Cemetery in Clanton.
