Lettie Mae Baker Walker, 80, of Clanton died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at UAB Medical Center, Birmingham.

She was born on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1931, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Irvin Madison Baker and the late Mae Alberta Lockhart Baker.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are two daughters, Diane (Mike) Maddox of Clanton, Kay (Jerry) Wilks of Arab; two sons, Gary Payne of Clanton, Donnie (Joan) Walker of Elyria, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Crystal (Tim) Martin, Scott (Bonnie) Maddox, Jessica (Jason) Britt, Vince Wilks, Kim Wilks, Chris Walker, Wendy (Luis) Torres; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Foshee of Clanton.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Jessie Walker; sister, Virginia Emfinger; and brothers, Steve and Clyde Baker.

Friends were received from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Dodson officiating.

Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
