Sherri Lynn Haigler, age 44, of Maplesville passed away on March 21, 2011, at her residence.

She was born on Oct. 21, 1966, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Willie Clyde Brasher and the late Evelyn Mae Madden Brasher.
Mrs. Haigler worked as a custodian at Isabella School.

She is survived by: husband, Pete Haigler of Maplesville; daughter, Kimberly Nicole Haigler of Maplesville; stepson, Kenneth Adam Sean Haigler of Maplesville; stepson, Derek Austin Haigler of Maplesville; sister, Margaret Harrison of Maplesville; sister, Verbalee Compton of Demopolis; sister, Edna Adeline (Bonnie) Webb of Dewitt, Ark.; sister, Glennette Edwards of Verbena; sister, Aline Headley of Jemison; brother, Clyde Brasher of Clanton; brother, George Brasher of Maplesville; brother, James Brasher of Maplesville; brother, Keith Brasher of Maplesville; brother, Rammy Brasher of Maplesville, and father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Betty “Red” Haigler of Maplesville.

She is preceded in death by: parents, Willie Clyde and Evelyn Mae Brasher; and brother, Ricky Steven Brasher.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison-Mims Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 24 at 2 p.m. from Alpine Baptist Church in Maplesville with the Rev. William Earl Short and the Rev. Joey Green officiating.

Mrs. Haigler will be in state one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.

Burial will follow in Alpine Baptist Church Cemetery.
