GeriLynn Daniel and Riley Barnett were married Dec. 18, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. at Mountain Valley Chapel in Wears Valley, Tenn.
The bride is the daughter of Clay and Kim Daniel of Jemison, and the granddaughter of Ken and Shirley Peterson of Mobile, the late Earl Elliott of Mobile, Elsie Daniel of Calera, and the late John Wayne Daniel of Mobile. She is currently employed by Baptist Health Centers.
The groom is the son of Rodney and Angie Barnet of Thorsby, and the grandson of Marvin and Mary Crumpton of Thorsby and Ishmael and Katherine Barnett of Thorsby. He is a police officer for the city of Jemison.

Bridal attendants were Katie Barnett, maid of honor; and Reese Caroline Hatchett, flower girl.
The groom’s attendants included Rodney Barnett, father of the groom and best man; and Brody Barnett, ring bearer.
The flowers were red roses. The bride wore a chapel length ivory gown with beaded bodice and all over lace, and her attendants wore red dresses. The wedding was a small, candlelit ceremony attended by close friends and family atop a beautiful mountain.
