Suspect in custody following Maplesville break in

The Chilton County Sheriff’s Office released a statement on May 30 regarding a break in and an at-large suspect in the Maplesville community, the suspect has been located and apprehended. At 2:45 p.m. on May 30, Chilton 911 received a call reporting that a subject had forcibly entered a resident’s property in Maplesville. The subject was run off by the home owner’s dog, and was at large for a few hours before officers made an arrest. Sheriff John Shearon confirmed an arrest was made at 5:22 p.m. on May 30.

The suspect was last seen in the 16000 block of County Road 16 in Maplesville before being apprehended a little over two hours after the release was posted.
