Clanton resident Alexzander Williams was presented a scholarship from the Deborah D. and William F. Denson III Scholarship fund at a luncheon on the campus of the University of Montevallo on March 11. Williams, a junior history major at Montevallo, was awarded a $6,000 academic scholarship from the endowment. The Densons attended the luncheon to see Williams be presented with the scholarship.
