Billingsley FFA wins central district in livestock judging contest

Billingsley High School saw great success at the Southeastern Livestock Exposition Livestock Judging contest in Montgomery on March 6. The competition has both an FFA and 4H contest that is conducted during the competition.

As a team, Billingsley placed first in the Central District and fourth in the state in the overall contest. Sophomore Hudson Manning was the highest placing individual in the FFA contest, securing first place in the beef and sheep and goat divisions, and also claiming third place in the reasons division. Manning was fourth overall in the 4H portion of the contest as well.

Members of the Billingsley team who participated in the contest were Madison Bean, Hudson Manning, Adriana Rasberry and Tanner Truesdale.
