Clanton Intermediate Science Olympiad Team takes second in competition

The Clanton Intermediate School Science Olympiad Team took home second place in the Alabama Elementary Science Olympiad competition at Jacksonville High School on Feb. 24. CIS competed in the Division AA competition for grades third through sixth, and 16 schools competed. The competition was a “hands-on academic interscholastic competition which requires teamwork, group planning and cooperation,” said CIS teacher Lisa Russell.
