Maplesville School hosted a Book Character Parade in its gymnasium on March 1 to celebrate Read Across America week. Students in kindergarten through sixth grade dressed up as their favorite book character and paraded around the gym. Characters in the parade ranged from Dr. Seuss, sci-fi and more.
