Thorsby High School’s Aiden Seeley is this week’s athlete of the week after his performances during the week of Jan. 26-Feb. 1.

Seeley posted back-to-back 30-point games for the Rebels, the first on Jan. 30 in a 62-41 win over Holtville High School with 30 points against the Class 5A School. He followed that up with a 35-point performance in Thorsby’s regular season finale on the road at Holy Spirit Catholic School to finish the regular season 16-10.

“We have been playing some good basketball and rounding into form,” Thorsby head coach Russell Ricks said. “If we can keep shooting well like we have been, and limit the turnovers, we will be in good shape.”

Thorsby won its last four games of the regular season, all by 20 points or more.
