The City of Jemison held its annual Christmas Tree Lighting event on Nov. 30 that welcomed hundreds to downtown to see the lighting of the tree. The event was held at the Jemison Municipal Complex and featured vendors, photos with Santa, queens from around Chilton County, a bake sale and activities for kids to get the Christmas season started in Jemison.
