Jemison High School’s 2023 season came to an end on Nov. 3 at Elmore County High School by a score of 56-6. The Panthers lone score came via quarterback Luke Gann finding Kintre Jackson for a nine-yard touchdown connection.

“I thought that we grew up over the course of the season, and that is important for a young team to grow up,” Jemison head coach John Therrell said. “I thought we did a good job competing throughout the year no matter what the outcome was or if we were playing for something, they just went out and competed. I thought that we were more improved and had a chance to win a lot more games than we have the last two years. We just have to continue with that, and we are getting to the point where we are making games closer and being more competitive, we just have to find a way to be on the winning side of that.”

Jemison finishes its 2023 season with a 1-9 record.
